All American Favorites
Nothing says summertime like a good old American Barbeque. We will go beyond the burger in this class and put a twist on some all-time American favorites. Students will learn to make delicious summertime dishes and desserts such as Chicago style-kielbasa and fresh strawberry shortcake.

Eggs aren’t just for breakfast. How about a yummy frittata or quiche for dinner! In this class, we will explore the versatile egg as well as create a delicious stratum, flavorful pancakes, French toast and even make homemade cinnamon buns.

Farm To Table
This week we will be exploring delicious and fresh ways to cook from the garden. We will discover the principles of sustainability and mindful eating. We will use fresh, seasonal foods to create a variety of menu items. We will introduce students to couscous, quinoa and colorful, flavorful fruits and vegetables. Focus will be on fresh not processed foods.
Students will begin an international exploration of tastes this week. We will be making recipes from all parts of the globe including the Caribbean, France, Greece and Spain. Recipes will include making gyros, arancini, pierogies, profiteroles and crepes to name a few. Come take a trip around the world!
Mexican and Southwestern foods have always been a popular cuisine in America. This week students will learn to make their favorite Mexican menu items such as empanadas, salsas, guacamole, tortilla chips, quesadillas, empanadas, tres leches cakes, and more. Come join us as we discover the true flavor of Mexican food, Ole’!
Northern Italian Favorites
Students will learn how to make Northern Italian favorites focusing on rice, corn, gnocchi and potatoes. Polenta, risotto, pesto, fresh baked bread, fresh fruit tarts and panna cotta are just a few of the Northern Italian classics we will be exploring.
Southern Italian Favorites
Students will learn the wonderfully intense flavors and freshness of Southern Italian cooking. Italy is a country with a diverse food culture and history. We will learn the basics such as pizza and pasta but also explore more sophisticated tastes like Caprese salad, Panzanella salad, eggplant parmesan, focaccia, tiramisu, and much more!
