Wrapping Up Summer 2025 at Conshohocken with Culinary Exploration Week!

Excited Junior Chefs after their dishes were complete!

What an incredible way to close out another unforgettable summer at Create-a-Cook’s Conshohocken campus! Our final session, Culinary Exploration Week, brought together a wonderful group of aspiring young chefs ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the delicious world of cooking.


This week’s adventure was led by the talented Chef Carisa and our amazing Instructional Assistant Spring, who brought warmth, expertise, and plenty of fun to the kitchen each day. With their guidance, our junior chefs explored cuisines from around the world, learned practical kitchen skills, and gained the confidence to cook at home for family and friends.

Throughout the week, campers embarked on daily culinary adventures that introduced them to new flavors, fresh ingredients, and the joy of creating something tasty from scratch.


Our Culinary Exploration Week menu featured a mouthwatering variety of dishes, including:


  • Panzanella – a refreshing Italian bread salad bursting with fresh herbs and summer vegetables

  • Pasta alla Norma – a classic Sicilian pasta showcasing eggplant and savory tomato sauce

  • Potato Cheddar Frittata – a comforting favorite perfect for breakfast or brunch

  • Summer Vegetable Risotto – a creamy, colorful celebration of seasonal produce

  • Quesadillas with Mexican Crema and Pico de Gallo – a camper favorite that never disappoints!


Beyond the recipes, this week was all about curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and lots of laughter. Watching our campers grow their skills, try new flavors, and beam with pride at their creations made this final week truly special.


We’re so thankful to all the families who joined us this summer and to Chef Carisa and Spring for making the kitchen come alive with learning and joy. While we’re sad to say goodbye to Conshohocken for now, we’re excited to keep the culinary adventures going at our other campuses.
