
Our hands-on, fun, cooking programs are for Junior Chefs of all skill levels. Learn new cooking and baking skills, explore flavors from around the world, and create new friendships!
Students will learn to follow both simple and complex recipes while working as a team. Our weekly themes are designed to build confidence and each Junior Chefs’ personal culinary artistry.
Time each day is spent divided between Baking and Pastry and the Culinary Arts Instruction to encourage our Junior Chefs the opportunity to explore all aspects of the Culinary field.

Campers will roll up their sleeves and cook their way through fun, summer-inspired recipes while learning real kitchen skills like knife safety, sautéing, mixing, and baking. With guidance from Create-a-Cook’s chef instructors, junior chefs will explore fresh ingredients, work as a team, and build confidence in the kitchen—all while having a blast. Bring the taste of summer to the kitchen with Al Fresco Flavors, a hands-on cooking experience inspired by fresh, seasonal meals and outdoor dining favorites. Whether cooking indoors or enjoying the open air, young chefs will create bright, flavorful dishes perfect for picnics, patios, and warm-weather gatherings. Throughout the week, campers will prepare colorful salads, savory proteins, wraps and sliders, grain bowls, and light, fruit-forward desserts while learning essential culinary skills like knife work, sautéing, baking, seasoning, and teamwork. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s professional chef instructors, students will build confidence in the kitchen and discover how simple, fresh ingredients can create incredible meals. Week 3: 7/6 - 7/9
Create-a-Cook invites junior chefs to step into the heart of Italian cooking, where food is all about tradition, care, and bringing people together. Throughout the week, campers will learn how classic Italian dishes come to life using simple ingredients, time-honored techniques, and a whole lot of heart. From fresh pasta and flavorful sauces to rustic breads and sweet treats, junior chefs will build essential kitchen skills while discovering the stories and traditions behind Italy’s most beloved foods. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s chef instructors, students will cook with confidence, creativity, and appreciation for the joy of sharing a meal—Italian style.

Get ready to sizzle, stir, and roll! Let’s Wok & Roll! invites junior chefs to explore bold, exciting flavors inspired by Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisines through hands-on cooking and creative teamwork. Throughout the week, campers will learn essential kitchen skills as they wok-toss, steam, roll, and sauté their way through delicious, flavor-packed dishes. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s chef instructors, junior chefs will build confidence, practice knife skills and kitchen safety, and discover how different ingredients, sauces, and techniques come together to create unforgettable meals. It’s a fast-paced, flavor-filled week that’s all about cooking, creativity, and having a blast in the kitchen!

Eggsquisite Brunch
Crack into a week of delicious morning favorites with Eggsquisite Brunch! Junior chefs will explore the art of brunch through hands-on cooking focused on eggs, classic breakfast dishes, and creative twists on beloved favorites. Throughout the week, campers will whisk, flip, bake, and sauté as they learn essential kitchen skills like knife safety, cooking techniques, and teamwork. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s chef instructors, junior chefs will discover how simple ingredients come together to create eggsquisite dishes—from savory brunch staples to sweet morning treats. Mangia! It’s time to cook up some Italian favorites! In Mangiamo! Italian Favorites, junior chefs will dive into hands-on cooking as they prepare crowd-pleasing Italian dishes they know and love. Campers will chop, mix, roll, and simmer their way through flavorful recipes while learning real kitchen skills like knife safety, teamwork, and cooking from scratch. With guidance from Create-a-Cook’s chef instructors, junior chefs will explore bold flavors, classic combinations, and the fun side of Italian cooking—all while building confidence and having a blast in the kitchen. We occasionally have single-day openings in our classes due to cancellations, and we offer these spots to interested students on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be notified of these last-minute class openings, please let us know of your interest using the link below. We'll announce the available classes one week prior to the start date. Our staff will then reach out to you to confirm your spot.
Please note that these openings will only be available at our Haverford College and the Central Montco Technical High School locations and are $115 for the day. Payment is required upon arrival by cash or check. There are no refunds for no-shows, please make sure to mark your calendar and attend the class if you secure a spot!

Designed just for young cooking enthusiasts, this one-week cooking adventure blends essential culinary skills with exciting daily challenges that spark confidence and imagination. Campers will chop, sauté, whisk, and cook their way through a variety of kid-approved recipes while learning real techniques used by professional chefs. With guidance from Create-a-Cook’s expert instructors, each participant will discover new ingredients, build teamwork, and experience the joy of creating delicious dishes from scratch. It’s the perfect blend of learning, laughter, and unforgettable summer tastes!

Chop, Sizzle, Serve!
Create-a-Cook brings junior chefs into an exciting, hands-on kitchen experience where creativity and teamwork take center stage. Throughout this dynamic one-week program, campers will learn essential cooking techniques—from confident knife skills to mastering the perfect sauté—while preparing a variety of delicious, kid-approved dishes. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s professional chef instructors, students will explore new flavors, practice real culinary methods, and build the confidence to cook independently. With daily challenges, tasting adventures, and plenty of fun along the way, campers will leave ready to chop boldly, sizzle proudly, and serve up their own culinary creations.
Week 3: 6/29 - 7/3
Prep, Season, Sauté
Create-a-Cook invites young chefs to sharpen their savory cooking skills in this immersive, hands-on one-week culinary experience. Campers will build confidence through essential techniques such as knife skills, proper seasoning, sautéing, roasting, and pan work while preparing a variety of flavorful, kid-approved savory dishes. Guided by Create-a-Cook’s professional chef instructors, students will learn how ingredients work together, practice kitchen safety and organization, and develop an understanding of timing and technique. With collaborative cooking, daily challenges, and plenty of opportunities to taste and refine their creations, campers will leave ready to prep with purpose, season with confidence, and sauté like young professionals. To celebrate the Fourth of July, campers will enjoy a festive culinary twist featuring red, white, and blue–inspired dishes along with classic summer favorites. This holiday theme encourages creativity, seasonal cooking, and an appreciation for how food brings people together during special celebrations.
