Breakfast Gets a Bold Makeover During Eggs-traordinary Brunch Week at Central Montco!

Week 5 at Central Montco had us cracking eggs and building flavor in all the best ways during Eggs-traordinary Brunch! This week was all about celebrating the joy of brunch, giving junior chefs a chance to master essential techniques while exploring sweet and savory recipes that are perfect any time of day.

Under Chef Jarrett’s guidance, campers jumped into hands-on cooking experiences that layered bold flavors and creative twists on breakfast classics. Dishes included:


  • Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Bowls – complete with fresh pico de gallo, crispy bacon, and roasted potatoes cooked right in the bacon drippings

  • Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches – the ultimate sweet and savory combo

  • Fresh Egg & Potato Burritos – wrapped in warm tortillas and served with housemade corn tortilla chips

  • Sunrise Strata – a hearty, veggie-packed baked dish perfect for sharing


On the sweet side of the brunch spectrum, Chef Megan led the way with comforting baked goods and crowd-pleasing treats. Junior chefs created:


  • Coffee Cake Muffins – soft and spiced with a cinnamon-streusel topping

  • Cinnamon Rolls – swirled with cinnamon-sugar and topped with icing

  • Chocolate Chip Scones – tender, buttery, and perfect with a cup of tea

  • Lemon Bars – bright, tangy, and dusted with powdered sugar

To make the week even more memorable, we welcomed a special guest appearance from Justice Martin of @ajsourdoughlove! Justice shared his passion, talent, and deep knowledge of baking, guiding our junior chefs through the process of making incredible chocolate chip scones and treating them to a fun sugar demonstration that sparked curiosity and creativity.

It was a day filled with good food, great times, and lots of laughs—a perfect blend of learning and joy in the kitchen. We’re so grateful for the collaboration and can’t wait to bake together again soon!


From cracking eggs to caramelizing sugar, this week was all about celebrating the creativity and confidence that comes from cooking together. Our junior chefs made us proud with their focus, fun, and fearless flavor!s never looked—or tasted—so Eggs-traordinary!
