Week 2 at our Haverford location was a flavor-packed celebration of all things sporty and snackable with Game Day Grub Club! Our junior chefs stepped up to the culinary line of scrimmage and tackled a lineup of fan-favorite recipes inspired by stadium eats and tailgate treats.

Completed dishes with Chef Lindsay!

Led by Chef Lindsay, campers spent the week baking, mixing, and assembling their way through a delicious playbook of bold, comforting recipes. On the savory side, junior chefs created:

  • Sheet Pan Nachos – crispy chips loaded with cheese, veggies, and all the toppings

  • Buffalo Mac and Cheese – a creamy, spicy twist on a comfort food classic

  • BBQ Chicken Sliders – tender pulled chicken with homemade sauce served on mini buns

  • Coleslaw Dressing & Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce – the perfect complements for pulled chicken

  • Dutch Oven Pulled Chicken – slow-simmered and full of flavor

  • Garlic Bread Pizza – cheesy, crispy, and totally craveable

But it wasn’t just about the savory snacks—Chef Lindsay also led campers through the sweet side of game day, where dessert took center stage with:

  • Copycat Sugar Cookies – soft, frosted, and ready for personalization

  • S’mores Pizza – a melty, marshmallowy masterpiece

  • Mini Cheesecakes – perfectly portioned and big on flavor

  • Pretzel Brownies – a sweet-and-salty touchdown of a treat

Throughout the week, campers worked on key kitchen skills—like chopping, sautéing, measuring, and teamwork—while having a blast crafting delicious game-day favorites. We loved seeing their creativity shine as they put their own twist on each dish.

From snack plate to dessert tray, our junior chefs scored big this week. We’re so proud of their progress and can’t wait for what’s cooking in the weeks ahead!
